Stephanie Scruggs is an experienced intellectual property attorney primarily focused on complicated patent disputes. Stephanie defends and enforces the IP rights of both U.S. and foreign-based clients in a wide range of industries, including the chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical, electrical and mechanical fields. Her experience includes formation of overall trial strategy, direct and cross examination of fact and expert witnesses, witness preparation and dispositive motion arguments.

Stephanie assists clients in developing and maintaining their IP portfolios through licensing and intellectual property transfers. She also performs infringement, validity and enforceability analysis and due diligence investigations. She also represents clients in post-grant proceedings, including inter partes review proceedings and ex parte re-examinations, as well as interferences before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
