He specialises in M&A, corporate litigation and extraordinary transactions, with particular focus on takeovers in the banking, financial, luxury and infrastructure sectors; restructuring and recapitalization of banks and large financial institutions; public M&A; governance of large listed companies; corporate litigation.

Stefano has an extensive experience in the structuring and implementation of complex corporate and M&A transaction and has acquired over more than two decades a deep knowledge of the underlying industries focusing in various sectors, including banking, asset management, insurance and payment services, luxury, infrastructure and air transport. In recent years, he has been involved on the most significant and complex acquisitions, joint ventures and restructurings transactions in the banking and financial industry and has advised important foreign clients and investment funds in cross border M&A and private equity transactions. He also assists funds and institutions in complex corporate and commerciale litigation cases, both in front of the Italian courts and in arbitration. He has been appointed as arbitrator in proceedings relating to M&A transactions.

He graduated in Law from the University of Milan in 1997 and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2001.

Lecturer in corporate law at Bocconi University of Milan. He authored three books and several articles published in the most prestigious Italian law reviews.

He is Deputy Managing Partner of the Firm.
