Emanuela Campari Bernacchi is involved in banking, derivatives and structured finance transactions. She is a Partner within the Banking and Finance Department and she heads the Structured Finance Department within the Firm. Mentioned by the major league tables and legal directories, Emanuela is widely acknowledged as one of the key players in DCM as well as Structured Finance transactions as she has been involved in securitisation transactions with all the different asset class as well as in complex and innovative transactions (issuance of the first hydrobond on the Italian market as well as CBOs and CLOs). She is also involved in various restructuring transactions and widely reputed for its work in the homologation for the concordato procedure of Officine Maccaferri. Emanuela normally assists investment banks, rating agencies, originators and servicers within securitisation transaction and financial institutions. She has also a wide experience in NPLs transactions (assisting the originator or the assignee) either within the typical plain vanilla transactions or complex and structured transactions. Emanuela is also known as a pioneer lawyer within the Fintech sector, since she started to explore it with an international perspective well before Italy faced with the market and she assists the major players within the Italian market. She is author of various articles on Italian and international reviews and she is co-author of the book “Fintech Expert”.

Emanuela has obtained her degree at Università degli Studi di Milano, she has practiced in the major Italian and international firms. She lived in London and speaks fluently English. She became equity partner in one of the most reputed and first ranking Italian firm at the age of 34 years.

Graduated at the University of Milan. She was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2001.
