Stefan heads the tax practice of Gleiss Lutz. He advises clients on all aspects of domestic and international tax law, with a focus on transactions-related tax issues. In particular, he advises clients on M&A transactions, real estate transactions as well as restructurings of distressed companies. His practice also includes advice on reorganisations as well as tax planning and succession planning.
Stefan studied at the Universities of Mainz and Münster in Germany. He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2011. From 2000 to 2008 Stefan worked at law firms in Frankfurt, New York and Düsseldorf, inter alia as Foreign Attorney at a major law firm in New York (2004/2005). He was admitted as certified tax advisor in 2006.
