Sofía began her professional career in 1998 as a lawyer at Ernst & Young Abogados’ Seville office, where she became a Senior Associate before founding Altius Abogados in 2007.
In 2011, as a founding partner, she embarked on the project to create the new firm MA Abogados, formed by a group of law firms to specialise in legal consultancy for medium and large companies, with a national scope and an international vocation.
She currently leads the Public Law and Procedural Law Departments at MA Abogados in Seville, combining strategic consultancy and opinion issuance with defence work in court.
She provides legal advisory services to various national and regional companies on matters such as public procurement, public assets, urban planning, expropriations, telecommunications and infrastructure in general.
Sofía has played an active role organising, coordinating and teaching seminars and workshops related to her area of specialisation, in both university and business school settings, throughout her professional life.
