Career

Simona Petrisor is a partner at Bondoc si Asociatii and the head of the Banking & Finance and Capital Markets practices of the firm. She is primarily focused on finance and projects, having assisted arrangers, borrowers and sponsors on landmark cross-border transactions in corporate finance, aviation finance, acquisition finance, oil and gas reserves based lending, real estate finance, project finance and PPP. Simona's financial services regulatory experience includes regular assistance of large investment management companies and alternative investment funds on various regulatory matters including group restructurings in the context of BREXIT, AIFMD transposition, alternative investment funds regulation, UCITS, corporate governance and shareholders' rights protection, listings. Simona assisted on various bank and financial institutions M&A and related regulatory matters including the relevant NBR/FSA authorisation procedures and stock option plans, as well as fintech and payments specific regulatory topics.

Simona is regularly involved in assisting clients on complex multi-jurisdictional restructuring matters including standstill agreements, composition arrangements and restructuring plans.

Simona is skilled at handling complex procurement issues in infrastructure, aviation, oil & gas, energy, mining industries.
