SHARON FLANAGAN is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Executive Committee and has 25 years of experience representing companies in a broad range of merger and acquisition transactions, securities offerings and corporate governance matters, with a particular focus on the life sciences/healthcare and technology industries. Sharon also serves as the San Francisco office managing partner, and is a leader of the firm’s Global Life Sciences practice. She was recently named to the Daily Journal’s 2021 “Top 100 Lawyers in California” list. She has been named an LMG Life Sciences “Life Sciences Star” in the Financial and Corporate category. She was also selected by The Recorder as one of 10 Power Players in California as lawyers who stand out as “trailblazers, mentors and advocates for women in tech.”

Sharon also advises a number of public companies on corporate governance, disclosure and other SEC compliance matters, as well as proxy advisory firm matters, stockholder proposals and corporate governance best practices.
