Seye is former deputy managing partner at the firm. He advises on corporate finance, trade finance, insolvency, receivership and capital markets and is trusted advisor to governments, multinationals and DFIs. A Senior Advocate, Seye handles complex commercial litigation and arbitration, and is a key member of the team assisting the Federal Government with the prosecution of financial crimes, following the Nigerian banking sector reforms. He has successfully argued precedent setting cases before several courts in Nigeria.
He advised on the Nigerian Mortgage Refinance Company (NMRC) Mortgage Liquidity Facility and the $40 Billion medium term note programme, the first of its kind in the Nigerian mortgage market. He also advised on the acquisition of the entire issued shareholding of a telecommunication company by a leading Nigeria communication provider.
