Nikola Babić is a partner who has been with the firm for 16 years, where he heads the banking & finance practice group in Serbia and Montenegro. He specializes in banking and finance, capital markets, restructuring/insolvency, as well as project finance and real estate. As a leading lawyer for public finance and sovereign debt, he has led numerous high-profile financing transactions and legal projects in Serbia, Montenegro and the wider region. He was leading almost all Eurobond transactions in the region in the past 10 years, as well as represented investment and commercial banks as lenders in a wide range of financial transactions. Additionally, he actively advises various financial institutions on significant transactions, including the issuance of notes for the Republic of Serbia, financial agreements and REPO transactions.
