Regulatory. Acted for individuals and companies being investigated and/or prosecuted by CPS, NCA, RSPCA, FSA, NRW, SRA and Trading Standards. Represented professionals accused of disciplinary matters at various tribunals and appeared at Inquests. His expert knowledge of the distinct legal jurisdiction in Wales for this type of work has led to various Law Society posts where he regularly feeds into profession wide guidance.
Fraud. Experience of VHCC fraud work. Expertise in this field lead to him being a speaker at the Wales Fraud Forum event in 2025. Noted as an extremely able advocate (often conducting Crown Court trials himself with a level of care and fortitude) and an excellent criminal litigator. He identifies procedural, evidential and disclosure weakness from the outset with such effect that many of his clients find cases being dropped rather than run to trial.
