Sarah Gagan

Sarah Gagan co-chairs Paul Hastings’ Technology Transactions group and is based in Boston.

Sarah’s practice focuses on advising clients on strategic technology and intellectual property transactions, guiding them through complex commercial arrangements for developing, licensing and commercializing IP, data and technology. She also counsels on the IP and technology aspects of M&A and financing transactions.

Her extensive experience spans a diverse spectrum of technology sectors and industries, including software, cloud computing and platform technologies, life sciences and biotechnology, cybersecurity, fintech, artificial intelligence and sustainable energy. Sarah represents public and private technology companies, global health care corporations and financial institutions, as well as emerging growth companies in all stages of their life cycle. She also advises leading private equity and venture capital firms in their investments in and acquisitions of technology companies.
