Senior Partner at Headrick since 2003 and co-head of the transactional practice of the firm. Business law expert. She serves as counsel for national and international clients in mergers and acquisitions, contract execution and negotiation, the structuring and implementation of real estate projects, distribution relations, joint ventures, corporate law, as well as in processes related to foreign investments.

In her local practice, Sarah De León has been noted as a corporate law expert. She drafted a draft of Ruling of the Mercantile Registry Law, hired by the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo. As part of her pro-bono work in the National Association for Young Business People (ANJE), she actively participated at the National Congress in the review and drafting of Law 479-08 on Business Associations and Individual Proprietorship with Limited Liability and its subsequent amendment via Law 31-11. Mr. De León has published several articles on company law and has had various speaking engagement on the topic on various forums.

She was awarded a British Council Chevening Scholarship in 1994 and undertook LLM studies in International Business Law in England, UK. She actively participates in the drafting and review of laws and regulations.
