Mergers and Acquisitions transactions (local and cross-border), Banking & Finance (local and cross-border), including transactions in the capital markets, structure financing, re-financing and debt restructuring and Private Equity (local and cross-border), including transactions in venture capital, private equity funds and search funds.

Santiago has been recently involved in some of the most relevant financial transactions in Guatemala, including 144 A/ Regulation S private offerings in the international capital markets for both private companies and sovereign bond issuances, and in structure financing deals for the agribusiness, energy, retail, manufacturing, and aeronautical industries. More recently he has participated in important deals for debt restructuring.

In the M&A fields has recently advised both seller and buyers for local and regional acquisition transactions in the pharmaceutical, food & beverages, logistics, agribusiness, retail, and manufacturing industries.
