Santiago's career of over 20 years as a corporate lawyer has focused on specialising in general corporate advice, mergers and acquisitions, administrative and regulatory law, and bankruptcy law.

As of November 2014, and at the age of 34, Santiago assumed full responsibility as managing partner.

Santiago has significant recognition both by peers and clients for his intelligent and modern approach to the matters that he is being consulted about, and the neatness with which he solves them.

Lawyer graduated from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the University of the Republic (UDELAR).

Master in Business Law at the University of Montevideo (UM).

He is a former Aspiring Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the Law School of the University of the Republic (UDELAR).
