Sandy Schlesinger is in his 5th decade of practice during which he has fully covered the field of trusts and estates. Along with founding this Firm, Sandy has been an Assistant Attorney General in the New York Attorney General’s office; served as a partner in two distinguished New York law firms, including Shea & Gould, where he was a member of its Management Committee, and Kaye Scholer (now Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer), where he chaired the Trusts and Estates Group; appeared in numerous highly publicized litigated probate and trust matters in New York Surrogate’s Courts; served on and/or chaired the prominent committees relevant to trusts & estates at both the New York State and City Bar associations; been elected an ACTEC Fellow (later serving as its chair for New York, Downstate); served on the trust and estate advisory board at the legal publisher CCH; served and continues to serve as a member of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law; has taught at the University of Miami School of Law, Columbia Law School and New York Law School; has written hundreds of articles and taught innumerable CLE classes; and has served on the boards of many prominent charitable organizations
