Ross Katz, Counsel to the Firm, concentrates his practice on probate and fiduciary litigation. Throughout his career, Ross has represented clients in a wide variety of matters, including will and trust contests, fiduciary removal proceedings, contested accounting proceedings, discovery proceedings and other miscellaneous proceedings. He has significant experience arguing matters before both the trial and appellate courts.

Career

Ross received a B.A. in 1993 from Lafayette College and a J.D. in 1996 from Boston University School of Law.

Prior to entering private practice, Ross served as the law clerk for Honorable John D'Amico of the Superior Court in Freehold, New Jersey.

Professional Memberships

Ross is admitted to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.

Ross is a member of the Trusts and Estates Law Section of the New York State Bar Association where he serves on its Executive Committee and is Vice-Chair of the Estate Litigation Committee. He has authored numerous articles and lectured recently before the New York State Bar Association on the topic of “Estate Litigation: 1404 Examinations and Contested Accountings.”
