Career

Sandra is a senior associate at Consortium Legal – Honduras. She with 20 years of experience in different business sectors; she has focused her practice on administrative law, intellectual property, and legal due diligence functions.

During her career, she has specialized in the areas of trademarks and distinctive signs, patents, copyright and related rights, international conciliation and arbitration, trademark management and evaluation. She also has extensive experience in relation to the applicability of industrial designs, denominations of Origin and geographical indications, as well as in the application of the Intellectual Property Regime.

She is a specialist in the defense of Unfair Competition, signal piracy, piracy in the music industry, counterfeiting in industrial matters. She works in the Specialized Committee for Reforms to Intellectual Property Laws and its regulations.
