Ryan Unruch

Ryan’s practice focuses on venture capital financings, M&A, corporate governance, structuring and reorganization transactions. He regularly advises entrepreneurs, start-ups, strategic investors, venture capital, growth equity, private equity and pension fund investors on domestic and cross-border transactions.

Ryan’s expertise includes advising on deals in the technology, AI, fintech, biotech and life sciences industries. He has extensive domestic and cross-border transaction experience, along with experience negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements.

Ryan is also a co-author and spearheads the annual Deal Points Study report, a key resource on venture capital and growth equity financing in Canada, and co-leads Osler's relationship with L-Spark.
