Career
Rúben Brigolas is a managing associate in the Corporate M&A practice. He has over 10 years’ experience in the Angolan jurisdiction in M&A transactions, structuring joint ventures, financing, projects and investments, commercial contracts, regulatory and employment.
Rúben has advised international groups in relation to projects and transactions in Angola and has provided ongoing advice to Portuguese and international companies operating in this country. His regular legal work focuses on sectors such as oil and gas, mining, finance and retail. Rúben also works regularly with promoters, finance providers/syndicates and banking and non-banking financial institutions.
He has an LL.M. in international business law from King's College London and completed a postgraduate course in environmental law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
Rúben is a member of the AIPN - Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and writes regularly for Angolan newspapers on a variety of topics.
