Rosie Sells

Rosie Sells is a senior associate at Payne Hicks Beach specialising in private wealth disputes.

Rosie has experience in a broad range of contentious trusts and probate disputes, including matrimonial proceedings involving trusts, and disputes involving art and cultural property. She frequently advises on claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, capacity issues and will validity claims. Her clients include professional trustees, executors, beneficiaries and high net worth individuals. She specialises in complex cross-border matters, and has experience in insolvency and asset recovery proceedings.

Rosie trained at Baker McKenzie where she qualified into the Private Wealth Disputes team in 2020. She joined Payne Hicks Beach in 2022 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2025. Rosie also has Higher Rights of Audience.

Rosie is a member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and the Contentious Trusts Association (ConTrA), as well as the Art Law Association (ALA). She is also listed in the 2026 Private Client Global Elite Directory.
