As an agricultural lawyer, I have a huge interest in the work I carry out as well as farming in general. My clients have included a variety of diverse farming businesses including livestock, arable and dairy farms, agricultural cooperatives, certification organisations, agricultural shows and tourist enterprises.
I take the time to understand my clients on a personal level, and get to know their needs as agricultural businesses. I provide pragmatic, jargon-free advice as a trusted advisor, and will always try and make myself available to fit the farming day, including out-of-hours and weekends where necessary.
My specialisms include agricultural contract issues, public and private rights of way, land disputes, common land, partnership disputes, joint venture agreements, the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995.
Outside of work I enjoy mountain biking and spending time with my family. We also have a smallholding.
