Rodrigo Moya is a lawyer with a solid academic background, obtaining his Law degree from the Universidad Anáhuac México Sur in 2005 with an outstanding average. His drive for excellence led him to graduate in 2007 with two Master's degrees: one in "Ciencias Penales" from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, and another in "Derecho Penal" from the Universidad de Barcelona.

Complementing his education, Moya completed a Diploma in "Proceso Penal Acusatorio" and another in "Nuevo Marco Constitucional en Derechos Humanos y Amparo." Throughout his career, Moya has demonstrated his commitment to the practice of law, serving as a judge and external advisor in National Interuniversity Competitions and in the Federal District of Juicios Orales. His practical experience is further enhanced by certifications from the Latin American Bar Association in oral criminal litigation and in interrogation and cross-examination techniques under the Código Nacional de Procedimientos Penales of Mexico, highlighting his capabilities in the area of oral trials.

Since October 2010, he has been an active member of la Barra Mexicana, Colegio de Abogados, A.C., participating in the Commissions of Young Lawyers and Criminal Law. His involvement in these commissions reflects his dedication to the training and development of new legal professionals, as well as his interest in legal reforms in Mexico.

In the academic field, he teaches "Práctica Procesal Penal" at the Universidad Anáhuac México Sur at the undergraduate level, and previously taught "Criminología" at the master's level. His role as an educator not only contributes to the training of students but also strengthens the educational system in the area of criminal law.

Rodrigo Moya's professional trajectory includes internships at the Office of the General Counsel of Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), and at the law firm Requena Abogados, where he worked as a lawyer until 2006. He then joined the firm Reygadas y López Alonso, S.C. as an associate attorney, and in September 2010, he founded Islas, Moya, Salinas y Madero, S.C.
