Rodrigo Jeria

Since 2019, Rodrigo Jeria leads the Labour, Social Security, and Immigration Law team at NexLegal. He is widely recognized for his strategic and business-oriented legal advice across all aspects of labor and employment law. Rodrigo routinely advises clients on employment compliance, stock options and executive compensation, labor due diligence, union relations, collective bargaining processes, workforce restructuring, immigration, and the implementation of new regulatory frameworks.

His recent work includes guiding clients through the implementation of Chile’s new legislation on reduced working hours (Law 21.561), workplace harassment prevention (Karin Law), and occupational risk management (Decree No. 44). Rodrigo is also a key advisor to several foreign companies operating in Chile, providing comparative legal insights and enabling their successful adaptation to the Chilean labor framework.

Rodrigo has extensive experience drafting and reviewing employment contracts, designing internal policies and benefits structures, managing individual and mass dismissals, and advising on social security matters. He also supports the firm's litigation team, particularly in disputes concerning wrongful dismissal, harassment, and violations of constitutional rights.
