In the venture capital field, José Tomás has advised a wide range of Latin American and US-based VC funds and emerging companies, including during seed and Series A rounds. He is actively involved in the VC ecosystem not only as counsel but also as a mentor, angel investor, and speaker. He was recently invited to speak at the Latin American Impact Investment Forum (FLII) in Mérida, Mexico, where he joined the panel "Regulatory Rhythms: From Showstopper to Golden Opportunities", contributing his legal insight on enabling frameworks for ESG and impact across the region.
