Rocío has been a partner at DIKEI Abogados since 2012 and currently serves as Managing Director of the firm. She leads the Litigation and Criminal Compliance practice areas. She holds a Law Degree from Complutense University of Madrid (1990), a Master’s Degree in Civil and Commercial Mediation from European University of Madrid (2013–2014), and a postgraduate qualification in Compliance from Carlos III University of Madrid (2017–2018). She began her legal career as a litigation lawyer at Bufete Lozano Bernal in 1993 and later joined ABDL Abogados in 1998, prior to its integration into DIKEI Abogados in 2000.

Rocío specialises in civil and criminal litigation and has more than 25 years of courtroom experience representing both individuals and corporate clients before all levels of the Spanish courts, including cassation appeals before the Supreme Court and constitutional appeals before the Constitutional Court. She is also highly experienced in mediation and extrajudicial negotiations.

In addition, she heads the Family and Inheritance Law department and advises companies across a broad range of sectors on the implementation of ethical codes and criminal risk prevention programmes, while also delivering training in compliance matters.

Rocío served as a member of the Council of Bar Associations of the Community of Madrid between 2015 and 2018 and has been a board member of the Mujeres Avenir association since 2015.

Alongside her legal practice, she has taught on legal practice master’s programmes at Carlos III University of Madrid and Complutense University of Madrid, collaborates with the Centro de Estudios Financieros and UDIMA, and regularly contributes articles to specialised publications and media outlets.
