Roberto Torres is a leading attorney in environmental, regulatory, and energy law in Mexico. Over the past 25 years, his practice has focused on clean energy, real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, and tourism projects, advising his clients throughout the entire lifecycle of complex transactions—from regulatory strategy and permit procurement to due diligence, acquisition, development, and operations.

Roberto has extensive experience conducting due diligence on environmental, regulatory, and administrative law aspects of mergers and acquisitions, project finance, corporate restructurings, public and private acquisitions, and asset and share purchase transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

His transactional experience spans a wide range of industries, including renewable energy (solar, wind, and biogas projects), water and waste management, data centers, food and beverage, aeronautics, hospitality, and industrial manufacturing.

He also has experience in regulatory, health, and administrative matters; the processing and management of permits, licenses, and concessions; and administrative proceedings and litigation before federal and local authorities.

Roberto serves as Commissioner on the Sustainability Commission of CAMESCOM and as Vice-Coordinator of the Environmental Law Committee of the National Association of Corporate Lawyers (ANADE).
