Gabriel Altamirano is recognized as a leading antitrust practitioner in Mexico, with more than 25 years of experience representing foreign and domestic clients in a range of industries in all aspects related to antitrust, including merger control filings, investigations, and compliance. In transactions, he represents clients before the Mexican competition authorities to obtain regulatory clearance for mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. On the investigation side, Gabriel advises clients regarding investigations for anticompetitive agreements and practices, including cartels and abuses of a dominant position.
