Tax law with emphasis on tax litigation, income tax (corporate and individual) and international taxation.

Founding partner at Brigagão, Duque Estrada – Advogados. He started his career as an associate lawyer, working with Professor Alberto Xavier, and became his partner at Xavier, Bernardes, Bragança Advogados, in 2002. He was founding partner, together with Professor Alberto Xavier, of Xavier, Bragança Advogados (2011-2013) and Xavier, Duque Estrada, Emery, Denardi Advogados (2013-2018).

Member of the Board of directors of Monteiro Aranha S/A. Member of the Board of Brazilian Association of Publicly Held Companies(ABRASCA). Vice-president of Vasco da Gama Football Club. Member of the Tax Committee of the International Bar Association – IBA. Director of Brazilian Financial Law Association(ABDF-IFA Brazil). Member of the Institute for International Taxation(IITI). Member of the Compliance Committee of the Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro (ACRJ).

Columnist of electronic magazines, co-author of the book “Tax Advisor” and author of several articles published in books and specialized local and international magazines. He worked with Alberto Xavier in the update of the 7th and 8th editions of the book Direito Tributário Internacional do Brasil.

Active lecturer at the main tax law congress, conferences, seminars and courses held in Brazil and abroad.
