Robert Tuteur

Robert Tuteur acts as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, issuer’s counsel, tax counsel, trustee’s counsel, credit enhancement provider’s counsel, swap provider counsel, and counsel to underlying borrowers in all types of sophisticated public finance and public/private partnership transactions. He is experienced in all areas of federal tax law relating to public finance and is thoroughly conversant with the applicable provisions of the Internal Revenue Code and related regulations. Robert regularly analyzes private use issues and performs the required tax analysis for new money, as well as complex refunding bond issues. He also represents clients in IRS audit and other compliance type initiatives.
