Practice Areas

Rob Kreklewetz has been practicing Indirect Tax, Custom & International Trade since 1988. His practice includes planning, representation and litigation matters.

In 1999, L’Expert Magazine labelled Rob’s firm a Canadian “super-boutique” and “brand name for Commodity Tax and International Trade”. In 2007 World Tax called its client base “stellar” and national and international leaders in almost every industry sector. Nothing much has changed in 2024, with Rob and the Millar Kreklewetz Team continuing to provide high quality work product for great clients across the world.

Career

Rob has been practising in these areas since 1988.

Professional Memberships

Rob is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations. Rob is a Past Chair of, among others, their Sales & Commodity Tax and Tax Sections, respectively.

Publications

Rob is the current Editor of Canadian Sales Tax, Customs and Trade Journal and has written over 1000 papers, articles and blogs in his career in these areas.

Personal

Rob is a proud husband of Franceen (a beautiful, intelligent and caring wife – and a Powerful Cancer Survivor), and devoted dad to William, Richard, Raine and Lake. With all that extra-curricular activity, Rob is currently on the “Freedom 95” Retirement Program.
