Career
Jack Millar is a Senior Partner at the law firm of Millar Kreklewetz LLP and has been certified as a Tax Specialist by the Law Society of Ontario. He received his JD from the University of Toronto and his LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is a recipient of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, which honours significant contributions and achievements by Canadians.

Jack is a past Governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation and past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association, National Commodity Tax, Customs and Trade Section. He is a past Director of the Canadian Direct Sellers Association, past Chair of the Tax Committee of the Metropolitan Toronto Board of Trade, and a founding member of the GST/HST Leaders’ Forum.

Jack has served as a consultant to various government departments and committees, advising on commodity tax and customs matters, and has appeared before the House of Commons and Senate on tax legislation. He has extensive litigation experience in the Tax Court of Canada, Federal Court and other provincial courts, and is a Canadian representative on the CUSMA Bi-National Panel Roster.
