Robert’s personal practice combines leading on the residential aspects of residential and mixed-use schemes with an ultra-high-end residential transactions practice.
He has a particular specialism in:
•Freehold and leasehold residential property sales and purchases, both registered and unregistered, for urban and country properties including contract races and auction transactions
•Advice to lenders on purchases, sales and security documentation
•General advice on property transactions to clients based both in the UK and overseas, including individuals, trustees, charitable bodies and financial institutions
•Advising on structuring ownership of mixed-use buildings and blocks of flats to avoid the right of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987
•Advising tenant freehold associations and management companies on block management issues
•Adviser to garden committees under the advice scheme operated by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
