Richard specialises in Medical Negligence and Personal Injury, dealing with a number of complex and high value cases.
Richard qualified in 1999 and joined Barcan+Kirby in 2003. He became a Partner in 2008, heading up the experienced Medical Negligence and Personal Injury department.
In leading the Medical Negligence and Personal Injury department, Richard's focus is on ensuring that the team maintains excellence in the provision of service to victims of injury. To this end, all lawyers are encouraged to work towards and maintain a Law Society and/or Action for Medical Accidents (AvMA) accreditation. Richard is on the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel and part of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
