Richard is a senior partner in the M&A, Capital Markets & Securities, Private Equity practices. He has advised public and private companies, including Alimentation Couche-Tard, New Look Vision Group, the Kaycan group of companies and Air Canada, on their most important transactions, investments and capital raising. Richard is also a key adviser to a number of national investment dealers regarding public and private financings. He is currently director, corporate secretary and counsel of New Look Vision Group Inc., a director of Uniboard Canada Inc. and ExcellThera Inc., and chairman of the Board of Mackinnon Bennett & Company Inc. , a private equity fund manager and eStruxture Data Centres. He also served as a director of several other public companies. He is often called to advise boards of directors regarding their strategic decision-making. Richard is also the outgoing chairman of The Montréal General Hospital Foundation. A long-time member of Davies’ Management. Committee, Richard was Managing Partner in the Montréal office from 2000 to 2015.
