Renato Toledo

Renato Toledo is a senior associate with 15 years at BCKV, where he has built a practice distinguished by the combination of rigorous academic grounding and practical strategic advice. He counsels clients on complex administrative law matters and dispute resolution, developing tailored strategies that bridge legal analysis with the technical and economic dimensions of each case. He holds a PhD in State Law from the Universidade de São Paulo and a Master's degree in Public Law from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), where he also completed his undergraduate legal studies. His executive training in Finance at the COPPEAD Graduate School of Business enables him to engage directly with clients' technical teams and to bring an interdisciplinary perspective to disputes involving financial and economic matters. Beyond his advisory practice, Renato is actively engaged in legal education. He is a permanent professor at the Public Advocacy Superior School, a founding member of UERJ Reg., an extension project at UERJ focused on economic regulation research and professional development, and serves as Legal Director of the Brazilian Institute of Administrative Sanctioning Law (IDASAN). He is the author of articles published in specialized legal journals and has served as a research assistant at FGV Direito Rio.
