Mrs. Fialho de Oliveira concentrates her practice primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, general corporate and contractual matters.

Mrs. Fialho de Oliveira advises domestic and foreign clients on complex corporate, commercial and international law issues and represents private equity firms, private acquirers and target companies in a variety of Brazilian and cross-border acquisitions, dispositions, spin-offs and restructurings. In the area of mergers and acquisitions clients rely upon her counsel on across the full spectrum of issues, including advance preparation of prospective targets, stock sales and purchases, asset sales and purchases, strategic mergers, private equity, leveraged buyouts and joint ventures. She also regularly provides corporate governance advice, as well as general corporate and contractual counseling.

A significant component of Mrs. Fialho de Oliveira’s practice involves private equity funds and businesses within the broad healthcare industry, such as pharmaceutical, cosmetics and biotech manufacturers, medical devices manufacturers and distributors, hospitals, clinics, diagnosis laboratories and other health service providers. She has also worked on an array of domestic and cross-border transactions in the advertising, education, chemical industry and IT sectors.
