Raoul Stocker is hiring Partner of Bär & Karrer AG. He is an accomplished tax advisor with over 20 years of experience in various tax firms and tax administration. He holds an outstanding academic background, as professor for tax law at the University of St.Gallen. Raoul possesses comprehensive knowledge in all areas of tax law, in particular taxation of multinational, small and midsize companies. His focus lies on complex tax matters, including cross-border structuring of corporate transactions and businesses, taxation of private equity, financial institutions like banks, asset managers and insurance companies as well as transfer pricing in general. As former head of transfer pricing at the Swiss Federal Tax Administration, he is specifically experienced in international tax litigation such as mutual agreement procedures and advanced pricing agreements.
Raoul is professor for tax law at the University of St. Gallen and director at the Institute for Financial Law and Economics (IFF) at the University of St.Gallen. He regularly publishes articles on corporate and international tax topics, in particular transfer pricing, OECD BEPS 2.0, is author of several leading commentaries and a regular speaker at Tax conferences. He organizes the most prominent tax seminars in Switzerland for inhouse tax experts, , advisors, and tax administration (ILE seminars).
