Rafhael Frattari has over 20 years of experience in Tax Law and graduated from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). He is a Master and Doctor of Law by Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1999 and 2008). Frattari is the current Vice President of ABRADT – Associação Brasileira de Direito Tributário, Tax Law Professor at Fundação Mineira de Educação e Cultura (FUMEC), Coordinator of the Tax Law Course at Centro de Atualização em Direito (CAD), member of OAB/MG Tax Commission and external member of the Fecomércio/MG Tax Commission.
He is the author of two individual books – “Decadência e Prescrição no Direito Tributário: Em Defesa da Norma Geral no Direito Brasileiro” and “Os Prazos Para Restituição do Indébito no Direito Tributário Brasileiro”. In addition, Frattari has co-authored more than ten books and has almost fifty academic articles published in technical magazines. He was a Tax Law Adjunt Professor at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP) and Counselor of Junta de Recursos Fiscais do Município de Belo Horizonte.
