Prasad Taksal

Prasad Taksal is a corporate lawyer with more than 20 years of Canadian and international experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and strategic investments, corporate transactions, and commercial matters. He works with clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, technology, education, venture capital, and private equity.

Prasad advises on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, leveraged buyouts, debt financings, joint ventures, and private equity fund formation. He also counsels clients on corporate governance, procurement, privacy, international sanctions compliance, and other regulatory and commercial matters, with particular experience in multi-jurisdictional transactions.

A key member of the firm's Aviation Practice Group, Prasad regularly advises international air carriers, commercial and private operators, and manufacturers on aircraft acquisitions, financings, leasing transactions, regulatory compliance, certification and licensing matters, and regulatory proceedings. He also brings valuable international perspective through his experience advising clients on investments and business operations in India and other cross-border markets.
