Piers is a Partner in Conyers' Hong Kong Corporate practice and Global Head of Investment Funds. He joined Conyers in 2002, following his time Clifford Chance, where he worked in the investment funds practice in both London and Hong Kong.
Piers advises on all aspects of corporate law with particular expertise in investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, real estate and hedge funds.
He acts as offshore counsel to international and Asia-based fund managers, advising on the establishment of investment fund structures, through all aspects of the continuing operations and other long-term business requirements of investment funds.
Having been recognised in consecutive editions of Chambers Asia-Pacific, a client in the 2025 edition remarked that “Piers Alexander tailors his advice based on the client’s business needs, combined with solid technical knowledge of Cayman law.” He was also described in the 2023 edition as “my go-to guy for investment fund works.”
