Philip Taub is the former Chair of Nixon Peabody’s Business and Finance Department and currently leads the firm's nationally recognized Private Equity Group. He focuses his practice on corporate transactional work, including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, start-ups, shareholder disputes and venture capital financing. Mr. Taub also acts as corporate counsel to publicly and privately held businesses in the US and abroad. He is widely regarded for his ability to solve complex problems and get tough deals consummated. He currently serves as a Board member on a number of for profit and not for profit organizations, including, the National Navy-UDT SEAL Museum, Primary Bank, The Elliot Hospital, Swim With A Mission, and the Granite State Children’s Alliance.
