Daub concentrates his practice in the areas of international and domestic tax planning for US- and foreign-based multinationals, financial institutions, and financial intermediaries. Domestically, he helps US-based multinational clients in deferral and repatriation structures and foreign tax credit planning and provides tax advice on financial and currency transactions. For foreign-based multinationals, Peter’s principal areas of concentration include the structuring of US operations, withholding tax minimization, and enhancement of US tax treaty benefits. He has counseled a wide range of clients on withholding, including on Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act issues.
