Pawel Grzeskowiak, advocate, partner heading the banking & finance, private equity / venture capital and defence & aviation practices at Gide Warsaw.

He specialises in finance and banking law, secured and structured financing operations, private equity transactions and M&A transactions. He has many years of experience in stock exchange law, securities law and securitisation. He represents Polish and international banks and financial institutions, insurance companies, private equity and mezzanine funds, companies and corporations, acting both as lenders and borrowers, issuers of securities as well as guarantors.

As part of international financing projects, he advises clients on cross-border structured finance transactions, on regulatory aspects - including bancassurance, on retail banking issues, and in the preparation and review of banks' standard legal documentation. He also assists clients with administrative proceedings.

He advises companies from the military and infrastructure sectors on all matters relating to public procurement. He represents both contractors and contracting authorities in tender proceedings. He assists clients in contacts with the Armament Inspectorate of the Polish Ministry of National Defence. He is also involved in the preparation, negotiation and implementation of offset agreements and other commercial contracts.
