Ms. Riquelme has more than 18 years of experience in providing pioneer legal counseling in environmental law, energy, natural resources and sustainability. Her practice has focused on environmental impact assessment of projects, environmental compliance and enforcement, due diligence, strategic permitting planning, environmental litigation, administrative proceedings, and international environmental law issues. She has also served as a member of the Presidential Commission of Experts to amend the Chilean Environmental Impact Assessment System. In addition to providing legal counsel, Paulina Riquelme has been actively engaged in the development of national environmental regulations and participates in the legal discussions regarding environmental public policy issues. Also, she is a regulatory advisor to SONAMI (Sociedad Nacional de Minería), member of the SEIA and president of the CPC Commission for Sustainable Development and Climate Change.
