Practice Areas
Paul practises in the areas of town and country planning, environmental law, local government law, highway law, the law of compulsory purchase. retail proposals; minerals and landfill proposals. He acts for both the public and the private sectors throughout England and Wales. He has acted for a local authorities, Government Agencies and a wide range of private sector developers, in cases involving diverse areas including major retail proposals, mineral and landfill proposals, large housing sites and other environmentally sensitive proposals. He is regularly engaged to act on behalf of major retailers and housing developers. He has been involved in a number of nationally important planning cases both before the Courts and at inquiry. His recent work has involved a diverse range of interests from the nuclear industry to Premiership Football Clubs, as well as national house builders, developers and retailers.
