Practice Areas

Pat's practice spans all areas of commercial energy law including energy project and infrastructure development, acquisitions, joint ventures, asset and share sales, energy commodity transportation and project financing. Most recently, he has been particularly active in connection with the development, sale, financing and use of pipelines, gas, liquids and LNG plants and related energy infrastructure. He is also Vice Chair & Managing Partner of the firm's Calgary office.

Career

Admitted to Alberta Bar, 1992.

Personal

A frequent writer on oil and gas law, Pat has contributed to Butterworths' Canadian Oil & Gas Law and co-authored a number of papers for the Canadian Energy Law Foundation, Insight Information seminars, the Alberta Law Review and others. Pat was the past President of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation.
