David Bursey

David practises regulatory law, focusing on energy, environmental assessment, aboriginal relations, and water resources. David acts for resource companies, First Nations and government agencies. As former counsel to the National Energy Board, David has expertise related to the approval, development and regulation of energy projects.

Admitted to the Ontario bar, 1984 and British Columbia bar, 1991.

David is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Canadian Water Resource Association and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association. He is also a former National Chair of the Administrative Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association and a former Provincial Chair of the Administrative Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association (British Columbia).
