Mark has significant experience advising on various types of debt financing transactions, acting for a wide range of domestic and foreign banks, alternative lenders, institutional investors, agents, borrowers and sponsors. He advises on domestic and cross-border syndicated and bi-lateral loan facilities, acquisition financing, reserve based loan facilities, first/second lien structures, inter-creditor matters, debt capital market transactions, workouts and restructurings.
Admitted to the Ontario Bar, 2000 and New York Bar, 2002.
Mark is an honorary member of the Canadian Bond Investors Association (CIBA), where he has collaborated with many leading Canadian institutional debt capital market investors in developing the CIBA’s model covenants paper and associated commentaries. He is also a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
