Pambos Ioannides

Pambos is a co-founder and the Chairman of Ioannides Demetriou LLC. He has wide experience in the fields of arbitration, commercial law, corporate law, dispute resolution, employment, EU and competition, insurance, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, public and administrative law, real estate and construction, restructuring/insolvency, stock exchange listings and public offerings and transport - maritime and admiralty.

He acts as leading counsel in major local and international commercial transactions, as well as major court and arbitration cases. He also acts as an arbitrator in international and local arbitrations.

As a courtroom litigator Pambos has litigated some of the most legally demanding and factually complex corporate litigation disputes ever heard before the Cypriot Courts. He is adept at managing teams of lawyers handling complicated cases that involve long evidence and complex legal issues.

His expertise includes the drafting of a wide range of documents, e.g. statutory instruments pertaining to the structuring/administration/operation of semi-governmental organisations; contract documentation in international transactions; tender/contract documents and studies for major infrastructure projects; mergers and takeovers of banking institutions, insurance, tourism and other business concerns; joint ventures of local and international corporations; syndicated loans and other banking/financing/securities documentation; listings on the Cyprus Stock Exchange and corporate organisation documentation.
