Andrew Demetriou

Andrew Demetriou is the Managing Director and one of the two co-founders of the firm.

Andrew’s areas of expertise are commercial litigation, legal and arbitration services in the fields of administrative, commercial, corporate, real estate, energy and construction law, all aspects of public law and public infrastructure/BOT Projects with internationally acknowledged expertise on energy and infrastructure projects from procurement procedures through to construction contract and project operation/completion as well as the formation of Joint Ventures and SPV’s.

As a litigator, Andrew handles high value and complex disputes in cases which often have a multijurisdictional element and thus require the formulation of an aggressive legal strategy. With more than 30 years experience he has litigated numerous high profile novel cases, for private as well as public sector clients including the Cypriot state and foreign states and institutions.

He is also very active internationally especially in Europe the Middle East and the fields of litigation, arbitration / ADR Corporate and high net worth private client matters.

Andrew is currently the Chairman of the Arbitration and Mediation Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association.
